Since a few years, US tours are planned for the Quartetto di Cremona at least twice per season. In the present one, together with concerts in Santa Monica, Philadelphia, Kansas City, Albuquerque, the Cremona performed twice in New York: the first time at the Carnegie Hall (October 2023), making the house debut; the second one for the Chamber Music Society of The Lincoln Center (March 2024), a re-invition after the great success achieved in 2022.
Both NYC concerts brought many good reviews, all underling the musical skills and the touching interpretation of the ensmeble.
A successful debut at the Carnegie Hall
“Quartetto di Cremona played with the music as if they were playing with a basket of diamonds, picking and choosing, and holding up each radiant musical jewel with musical delight.”

The return at the CMS of the Lincoln Center
“Never have I heard Schubert’s Fourteenth Quartet played better. In fact, never have I heard any Schubert quartet played better than this one done by the Quartetto di Cremona on Friday, March 8, at Alice Tully Hall. It was not that the Shostakovich faded away; I was glad to have heard it live, as I am always glad whenever it appears in my life. But the Quartetto’s rendering of the Schubert was so intense, so varied, so vigorous and yet so attentive to nuance, as to leave me stunned.”
